Company name change

At the present time, a company name change is being prepared. Thereupon we will put emphasis on the belonging to our controlling company Carrier Corporation and become more “comprehensible” for our partners and the public as well as our present or future employees.
In the future, a new company name should be Carrier Refrigeration Operation Czech Republic s.r.o.
Once the name change comes in effect the general public will be properly informed.

Recruitement in Myto renewed

Beginning in August, we are launching a new recruitment campaign for Production and Warehouse Operators in the Myto plant.
Should you be interested in this position, do not hesitate to visit our plant in Mýto (Plzeňská 601) during the recruitment hours – Tuesday (2 pm – 4 pm) and Thursday (9 am – 11 am).

Interruption of Recruitment for Blue-Collar Positions

The recruitment of staff for blue-collar positions has been suspended from 16 November 2006 until the end of 2006 because there are no vacant personnel capacities. Applicants for employment can be registered in the applicant database at the HR Department in Beroun or Mýto. More information can be also found on the HR Department notice board at both plants.

Conquest of Another Production Limit

Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the whole manufacturing team, more than 800 pieces of cabinets were manufactured in that week, for the first time since the start of production in January 2006.
New ACE Manager

Mr. Vladimír Hasch, who had worked as ACE Coordinator for Mýto Plant so far, was appointed ACE Manager at the beginning of October. At the same time, the position of ACE Manager was ranked among the Company’s top management, and thus Vladimír reports directly to the Managing Director.
This step should contribute to further strengthening of the significance and efficiency of the ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) Program, the corporate program focused on improvement of processes and reduction of losses, at Linde Frigera.
Strengthening of Bus Lines

Further strengthening of bus lines intended for the transport of employees for Mýto Plant takes place since 4 September. On that date, a line on the route Hořovice - Komárov - LF Plant Mýto is going to be added to the lines on the following routes:
Zbiroh - Strašice - LF Plant Mýto
Hrádek - Rokycany - LF Plant Mýto
Plzeň, ČD Main Station - LF Plant Mýto
Continuing Recruitment at Mýto Plant

During August, third shifts are being introduced gradually on all assembly lines at Mýto Plant. In this context, the need of expeditious recruitment of high number of qualified employees for manufacturing shops is increasing.
All applicants for manufacturing positions are invited to take advantage of the recruitment hours on Tuesdays from 14:00 to 16:00 and on Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00 at Mýto Plant (Plzeňská 601, Mýto). Management Changes

Major movements in the Company’s top management occurred before summer vacation.
First, David Kubát acceded to the position of EH&S Manager; then Vladimír Černý replaced Michal Jeřábek in the office of HR Manager; and management changes were completed by the admission of Jaroslav Hrubeš as Plant Manager for Beroun Plant.
