Safety in first place
SAFETY 1st or Safety in first place is the main motto of all plants in the UTC concern. Our company also regards the creation of safe conditions that pose no threat to health for their employees as a decisive factor of success.
EH&S, an abbreviation that all our employees are very well aware of, stands for ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH and SAFETY. This is our company philosophy that places the safety securing above all.

We all are commited to keep the rules which protect the health of ourselves as well as of our colleagues.
Our goals are:
1. to work with no accidents
2. to sort and recycle waste
3. to respect laws and regulations
4. to manufacture out of health-friendly materials
We invest a greal deal of resources in protective equipment, development of new safety technologies and trainings. That helps us to minimize risks along with the number of accidents. At present time we exceed by much the safety standards of the Czech legislation.
OUR GOAL IS NOTHING LESS THEN TO BE THE BEST!
Main company principles
The following main principles apply in the company for the area of health and safety at work:
- Fulfilment of requirements set by legal and other regulations goes without saying. Further internal requirements of the UTC concern are also gradually being introduced in the company, which exceed the framework of Czech legislation (especially in the area of safeguarding machinery, work at heights and electrical safety).
- It is the aim of the company to prevent injuries at work by removing all possible risks and dangers from the workplace.
- In places where it is not possible to remove such risk, employees are provided with personal protective equipment and clothing, which fulfil the highest demands on quality.
- Education and training of employees make up an integral part of the educational programmes in our company.
- An active approach to safety is required on all levels.
